About the Therapist…I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees at CSU, Sacramento and have been active in the field of speech pathology for over eight years. My experience as a speech therapist includes (but is not limited to) working with more than 150 children of all ages in private therapy and public school settings. I’ve developed and implemented therapy programs for students in regular and special education, targeting each of the categories listed below.

Articulation: Difficulty producing speech sounds. Noticeable in individual words and/or connected speech.

Auditory Memory & Processing: Difficulty remembering and/or understanding what is said.

Fluency: Difficulty with the smoothness of spoken language (stuttering, stammering, blocking…).

Language: Difficulty with sentence components and structure, formulation, and/or expressing ideas.

Phonemic Awareness: Difficulty with reading, spelling, or blending and separating sounds of the English language.

Vocal Quality: Exhibiting a consistent hoarse, weak, breathy, aggressive or nasal voice.
